The duties of the foster care specialist are many. The dogs and puppies that come into our rescue may have been abused or neglected. In foster care the dogs need to be socialized with other dogs and people or children, cage-trained, housebroken, and given lots of TLC. Depending on the breed or age of the foster dog, they may be adopted within a few days or it may take up to several months to find them the right home.
